Self-independence of Children

Ayah, Vito, and Bunda

Our son Vito has stepped on the age of two years and now into his third year in 2012. This year he has started his first lead to self-independence.

The years before entering school is a time to increase his capability on its own self-knowledge, and time to start understand the concept of social interaction and the difference between personal conduct in public. Even more than in the first year, a child must be understood according to certain developmental stages. The actual calendar age may not be so important, because of the development of every child is not always the same. Sometimes there are some special surprises along the physical and mental development which can be encountered suddenly and unconscious.Playing is an activity that carried the children to have fun. Besides playing, reading a book will be more extensive. Unfortunately, not all children love to read. Well, how do we make children love reading? I am very grateful, I and my husband have passion in reading some books at least it will give positive attitude indirectly against my son, and he loves reading as well. Of course reading is something that should not be forced. Bring a child into the world of fun book by reading, recognizing numbers or letters, familiar animals, or objects of interest through the book will be very useful.

Entering the age of two years and above, the school becomes meaningful to introduce children to be sociable. Learning while playing is a good combination. Excessive fear is caused by psychological experience of the school or the outside environment, it would be dangerous, like children who do not have confidence in their self or children who find themselves unable to deal with other people outside the family. The role of parents in encouraging children is very important because it would be more concerned in order to prevent the children become shy or not confident.

Elly is a fun, smilely and surprisingly flexible pink elephant. As the oldest of Pocoyo's friends, she helps make most of hte important decisions. Elly is very strong and has great balance which helps her when she's riding her scooter, picking things up and dancing ballets beautifully.

Pato is Pocoyo’s best friend. He is a good and loyal duck andloves to wear his green hat, but he's frightened of anything new. Pocoyo's bravery and adventurous spirit helps Pato to try new adventures.

She is a very, very tired bird. Although it may seem like she only wakes up to turn off the alarm clock, Pocoyo is very good at waking her up and getting her to join him and his other friends in playing games or enjoying new adventures.

Loula is Pocoyo’s pet dog. She always wants to play even when everyone else is tired. She never leaves Pocoyo’s side and follows him on every adventure!

Baby Bird is Pocoyo's newest friend! Happy, determined and brave, Baby Bird always gets attention from Pocoyo and his friends. And since Baby Bird has a lot more energy than Sleepy Bird, Baby Bird is always fluttering about happily, eager to join in the fun adventures of Pocoyo and his exciting friends.

Although she's very small in size, Caterpillar's big appetite has caused some trouble for Pocoyo and his friends. Pocoyo feels like a big brother to Caterpillar, who can be very charming. Her playful nature and her enjoyment in discovering new things makes her a favorite friend to all.

Fred is an odd but friendly red octopus who comes out of the sea to share in the fun with Pocoyo and his friends on dry land. Fred is very, very funny. He also loves surprises, is unpredictable and a litte crazy sometimes. He also turns everything into a game, which is why Pocoyo loves to have Fred play with him and his friends.

Pocoyo is Vito's new friend. He realy loves him and also his fantastic friends. Pocoyo has some good values The Pocoyo concept goes beyond the television screen, touches children’s, parents’ and carers’ lives, and also promotes a philosophy of curiosity, sincerity, interest, tolerance and respect – values which we consider fundamental.

For Vito's 1st anniversary we set little surprise party "Pocoyo's world", He was very excited and happy as well.

People with disability (disabled person) can definitely be much harder to do their daily work when compared with people who have the physical and mental health. In the case of disability this would have been classified heavyweight and deserves disability permanent, having inability to take part in public life at the same level with people without disabilities.

It is from my personal point of view. I am a proud mother of Fahrevi Devito Subhan (2 years 5 months), I enjoyed the maternity things such the period during pregnancy or around the time of childbirth and now I love living in this motherhood. Talk about child development, physical, intellectual, social, and emotional changes that occur from birth to adolescence. Although people change throughout their lives, developmental changes bad are especially when they faced dramatic or tragic live in childhood.

Many abilities and characteristics developed in childhood last a lifetime. During this period, a dependent, vulnerable newborn grows into a capable young person who has good in languages, is self-aware, can think and reason with sophistication, has a distinctive personality, and socializes effortlessly with others.

Some developments in behavior and thought are very similar for all children. Around the world, most infants begin to focus their eyes, sit up, and learn to walk at comparable ages, and children begin to acquire language and develop logical reasoning skills at approximately the same time. These aspects of individual growth are highly predictable. Other aspects of development show a much wider range of individual differences. Whether a child becomes outgoing or shy, intellectually advanced or average, or energetic or subdued depends on many unique influences whose effects are difficult to predict at the child’s birth.

A variety of factors influence child development. Heredity guides every aspect of physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and personality development. Family members, peer groups, the school environment, and the community influence how children think, socialize, and become self-aware. Biological factors such as nutrition, medical care, and environmental hazards in the air and water affect the growth of the body and mind. Economic and political institutions, the media, and cultural values all guide how children live their lives. Critical life events, such as a family crisis or a national emergency, can alter the growth of personality and identity. Most important of all, children contribute significantly to their own development. This occurs as they strive to understand their experiences, respond in individual ways to the people around them, and choose activities, friends, and interests. Thus, the factors that guide development arise from both outside and within the person.

Why is the study of child development important? One reason is that it provides practical guidance for parents, teachers, child-care providers, and others who care for children. A second reason is that it enables society to support healthy growth. Understanding early brain development, for example, means that parents can provide better opportunities for intellectual stimulation, and society can reduce or eliminate obstacles to healthy brain growth. Third, the study of child development helps therapists and educators better assist children with special needs, such as those with emotional or learning difficulties. Finally, understanding child development contributes to self-understanding. We know ourselves better by recognizing the influences that have made us into the people we are today.

Dear my pain and sorrow, your dangerous expression mean eyes full of earthly summations. Your words ruminate around my head like some unpleasant temptation. I don't require every pleasure to be pleasant or simple. Of course, you are never dead. Black words...

I fell in love with my man. I felt it suddenly, I didn't even know what's wrong, or if there was anything wrong, but I just felt like everything was spinning out of control, and I hate wasn’t being in control. It was hurt inside. I hate when it hurts. Suddenly, there was a woman killed my beloved man. She’s only woman. A pregnant woman. You know who’s she? She’s me. Disposal woman… Paid woman... trouble with the law... life in a prison.... A love of life, of woman and man? I see much of a devil an occasionally aristocrat... kept his head, kept hiding his secrets... He was determined haven’t any life regrets. How did he keep his fake? Nearly few years locked up. Right before death I gave him his favorite joy... at that time, I needed to kill him... as the time gone by, only two choices of my life, kill him or slowly but sure I and my baby will be killed. Though pretending to be murdered is one I've yet to find out about. I've been whipped, slapped, punched, bitten and hit. But now it’s being written...

Almost eight years, I was being kept in a secure place. There is a place for keeping guilty people or criminal. All people call this place is jail. So cold… I’m living here with my confusion, desolation, and night mare.

“Yes, they are absolutely true”. I’m a prisoner right now. I live here with being forced by somebody and something unexpected. I live in a room in a prison that more than one prisoner are confined.

“It sucks. I hate it!”

“Oh my God, now my left eye is very hurt caused by my cellmate was flaring up with hitting my face.”

I have been noticing things more. It seems everyone I look at is ignorant in some way.

I’m sitting on the dark cell corner alone. All night long, my mind was sailing with my thought. Now, my hope is only my daughter. I entrust her in one of the orphan houses. She’s only an 8-year-old girl now. I left her for almost 8 years ago when she’s already born.

When I imagine about her, my tears start to drop. Many questions to my mind! Who was giving her protection, security, affection? Did she able to survive without me next to her?

I want to make a time machine and return to the past, I know that I’m not the only one in pain, but when I was noticed and thinking about my daughter I felt very embarrassed and I really hate that feeling. That’s because I’m afraid to convey my feeling, even though I suppress it in my head, I couldn’t do anything about my heart. I want GOD gives me courage. When I’m alone and with my bad crazy thoughts, I worry about what I think of her. Now, I feel that I’m not myself; I’m not stronger or more confident. The time passed by.

It's getting near dawn when stars lights close their tired eyes

I will soon be with her to give my dawn surprise
I will always be with her when the stars start falling
I'm with her and the lights shining through on her face
I want to be with her till my tears are dried up
I've been waiting so long to be where I'm going

I love my daughter more than words can say

Life is what you make it, if you think it sucks then it does. If you think it rocks then it does. You got to get out there and do it, rather than just think about how you want your life to be. Ask yourself, what do you want to do in your life and just do it. There is really no excuses, no constraints within reason. Life could end at any moment and although we would not be alive to regret, you got to ask yourself do you want to die not doing the things that you have wanted to do.

Sitting at home for many years as a teenager, depressed, wanting to go out and enjoy my youth, I realised that I might have wasted that time away in my room, feeling sorry for myself, blaming my parents for my state because they didnt let me go out and do it. Then I look at many teenagers today, going out and doing what they want, whether it be crusing in mates cars, getting stoned and drunk, I admire them because they are doing what they want and when they look back at their youth they can say that they have done all that stuff and have hopefully learnt from it. Life should just be about enjoyment, doing things that you love. It is a gift that is given to us, and we are given the opportunity to live it out the way we want, whether we take enjoyment through drugs, through books, through friends, as long as you are doing what you enjoy I don't think that it matters. I want to grow old and live with a smile on my face about all the things that I have done, laugh at all my mistakes and smile at all my pleasures. I do not want to think back and think that I did not know how to live. That would be my biggest regret at all.

yeah, So do I. So, Why am I thinking about marriage? Could it be I've reached the ripe young age? hehe... I am in a romantic stupor about all kinds of things. I see all these sweet marriage where people get married and are in love and sweet to each other. It makes me believe that there really is something holy about marriage. I do believe that God ordained this. Marriage is a sweet thing. But so many people today are unfit to be married. I know I am! If you are selfish and can't take care of yourself, you have no business getting married. I'm for marriage all the way. I just think its sad to see how so many marriages start too soon and end way too early! Divorce rips people apart. God is the only giver of marital bliss. God, please give me a good marriage with the perfect man for me! My fiancé has so many qualities I want in a man. I tend to look at the negative, too! But for me he's so special...

When I imagine about the future, My tears start to drop. One question to my self! What should I do now? The black clouds float around. The wind feels a little cold, but it felt a little bit nice.
Maybe, Only the blast of wind, seems never ending.

Corruption affects every country, people and of course its life. People in the world know about the corruption. It is an organized violence in ordinary day. It is the most worst act in the world. Nobody needs to be lectured by the corruption. Societies that have massive corruption suffer misery in a thousand ways. The assumption of it is simply wrong.

It retards progress and makes its victims poorer every day. it can be attributed to base human greed, exacerbated by the economic, social and political conditions of the country have allowed human greed to flourish unchecked. There is no better illustration to me of the debilitating affects of it. It so greatly enforces and maintains inequalities, acting as a barrier to economic and social development and those responsible who can afford generators for their big homes with their stolen money, just won’t see any of the negative effects of their theft while enjoying the benefits. It is terrible. It is a great paradox that almost every single person encountered has been incredibly kind, generous, welcoming and the trend is that the less they can offer the more they give. Whereas the people who have everything just take and make the country harsh and inhospitable for nearly everyone. This situation really does ram some realities home.

To fight against corruption is to ensure that the process is enshrined in the constitution. All offenders should be made to face the full wrath of the law. Economic, political and social measures corruption are put in place to improve the quality of life of people. Corruption can be starts at home; what do you expect of children who are taught to show so-called appreciation for what is otherwise their fundamental human right when they grow up? We cannot fight corruption when everyone sees it as a normal thing. We cannot be free of corruption but we can definitely minimize it. The only way to fight corruption is if we the people are willing to stand in line, wait for our turn and follow normal procedures. As long as there are no checks and balances there will always be corruption. In order to combat it, those guilty of corrupt practices should be punished severely.

I am soooo lucky that i have people who care about me so much...I really do appreciate it! I am feeling good right now. I should really be thankful that things are so good, compared to the past. I have some much to be thankful for!!! Life is the greatest gift i'll ever had! Everyone should think about that...don't waste any more time. You can change things. Ok, it'll never be perfect. But appreciate the good things. Simple things make me happy...
Take nothing for granted. If you do that, you'll never truely see.....

Many kind of mobile phones began to appear, the more sophisticated added here... whew! Quote of human satisfaction is unlimited. there are always innovations that come out from the human brilliant, smart, curious, freak, or weird brain ...

Two years ago the new Sony Ericsson W800i mobile phone released in the colors orange white color plus there is a bit silver. W800i still has not come out in this homeland. How much the price? Hmm ..4million rupiah even more .. Mmmm ... I must buy a piggy bank for saving, theni fill it until I could buy the handphone. If there is durian falling from the sky (why should durian? whahaha ..) that contains money $ _ $ a lot and then I'll that handphone.

W800i, themes, games and applications W800i has a lot on the internet. Free anyway. Nice to have a W800i. When I'm idle, stay take pictures with 2MB pixel camera (was weaknesses in the picture is less clear pictures) If we feel bored, stay put the walkman application while listen to music with or without earphones. No need to carry charger, just bring the USB (data cable) can all permutations while charging.

Hummm ... but if there are mobile who better, Why not? for change.

I have been so hung up on cricket related things that I have neglected to inform about Univ.Univ is this hub of clubs, societies and crazy and weird groups. It is also the place I go to learn.I am not part of the crazy, weird groups as I tend to stray from weirdness. Funny that! It's just that I find it too much to have to force myself to socialize with people. If I have to force myself,then it's not really right or should I say natural and chances are I probably am not meant to befriend that person. But there are some people that I've met that I don't need to force myself to talk to and that conversation flows really well with. The whole freak of new people is such a daunting figure that it makes you seem so small and yet, this image of smallness is so real.Lectures were tough but I think I've got the skill of note taking now. I find it hard to stay awake in my early morning, 7am, lectures. But the aid of the bright lights in the lecture room cures that.It is at my 1pm/5pm lectures that I find it hard to stay awake because the room is relatively dark.Quizzes are freaking me out. I am not sure about how much I am suppose to study and not, thus this first quiz will prove to be a bit of an indication of how I am going. So I'll have to give you the score on that.The thing I fear the most about univ is the loss of personality. Coming from a place where my personality was so known and so recognized to a place where no one cares about who I am, what I like makes me feel like just another face in the crowd and I hate that feeling. I hate the impersonality of lecture rooms. That is why tutorials are much better and gradually in time,I'm sure my tutorial classes with get much better acquainted with each other.
